Reality star Valerie Fairman has been found dead after taking a suspected overdose.
The 16 And Pregnant star, 23, was found at a friend’s house on Wednesday in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, and her family have told TMZ they suspect she overdosed.
Troubled Valerie is believed to have been staying with a friend when the pal became worried after Valerie had locked herself in the bathroom.
According to TMZ, the friend broke down the door and found her unresponsive.
The coroner is conducting toxicology tests to determine the exact cause of death but Valerie’s mum said it appears to be an OD.
Her seven-year-old daughter Nevaeh was not in her custody at the time.
Since the show Valerie has been arrested a number of times and charged with offences including prostitution and resisting arrest.
In 2014 the mum-of-one was sentenced to two years of parole, stemming from her previous arrests.
A week before her death, Valerie ran into trouble with the law just a week before her death. She was arrested in Pennsylvania on December 15 for resisting arrest and giving false identification to police.
Valerie was released on bail, and was set to go before a judge for her preliminary hearing on January 5.
Her ex-boyfriend, David Pryce paid tribute to Valerie and hinted that her death may have been drug-related.
“I will always miss you Valerie and I want to tell anyone who is selling s**t to people to stop,” he wrote. “We have lost too many loved ones to what you are doing…”
