The nightmare is still not yet over for several celebrities who also became the targets of leaked nude photos online after Amanda Seyfried and Emma Watson, reports say.
More celebrity nudes are being exposed online through the Fappening which later came into view not too long after Seyfried and Watson’s private photos were leaked.
Among the identified celebrities were actresses Katie Cassidy, Lili Simmons, Rose McGowan, Rhona Mitra, Kristanna Loken, Trieste Kelly, and Jilliain Murray, and models Alyssa Arce, April Love Geary, Dylan Penn, and Analeigh Tipton.
The controversial nude photos leaked online were quick to dominate in the social media.
While the alarming incident is not the first time to happen as other celebrities a few years back were also victimized by these hacked photos, it has gotten worst this time because aside from photos, there were also leaked videos of sexual acts by some celebrities.
From Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried’s nude selfies that were leaked by unidentified hackers, the Internet is still expecting more of it coming in the next few days, as reported.
While authorities were quick to remove the leaked photos online to protect Seyfried and Watson’s privacy at the time, the material were reportedly posted on Celeb Jihad, a gossip site which shared leaked nudes of the “Les Miserables” actress and her boyfriend without the actress’ consent, according to Gossip Cop.
The two actresses have already taken legal actions with their respective lawyers. Meanwhile, there has been no recent statement yet coming from the authorities as the investigation continues.
“Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen.
They are not nude photographs,” Watson’s publicist Luke Windsor told USA Today on Wednesday. “Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further.”
From Windsor’s brief statement, it was said that the “Beauty and the Beast” actress’ leaked photos were not nude. However, there were also leaked photos of a naked woman in the bath whose face in the photo was reportedly cropped.
Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried are still yet to release their official statements, respectively.
