A 39-year-old Manhattan woman who heads a technology education company remains unaccounted for after the Amtrak derailment in Philadelphia, according to reports.
Rachel Jacobs, 39, has not been heard from since the crash late Tuesday, WPIX reports, citing a co-worker.
Jacobs, who lives on the Lower East Side, recently joined AppreNet in Philly, the company website said.
She has a Columbia Business School MBA and a bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College.
Before joining AppreNet, she worked for McGraw-Hill and Ascend Learning, the site said.
Co-worker Emily Foote said Jacobs commutes twice a week from Manhattan, the station reported.
The married Jacobs, originally from Detroit, has a 2-year-old, Foote said.
