Newt Gingrich thinks Megyn Kelly’s mind is in the gutter.
In a heated exchange Tuesday, the former GOP House Speaker accused Kelly of biased coverage concerning Donald Trump’s alleged sexual assaults.
“You want to go back to the tapes of your show recently? You are fascinated with sex and you don’t care about public policy,” he said on Fox News’ “The Kelly File.”
“Me? Really?” Kelly said, crocking an eyebrow. “Listen, Mr. Speaker, I’m not fascinated by sex, but I am fascinated by the protection of women and understanding what we’re getting in the Oval Office.”
Gingrich, an ardent Trump supporter, blew his top off and lashed out at the media for reporting on 12 women who have accused the GOP presidential nominee of sexually assaulting them.
Trump’s social media director, Dan Scavino, came out in support of Gingrich, saying Kelly is “not very smart” and “made a total fool out of herself.”
