NYPD Arrest Shooter In Hells Angels Parking Spot Brawl

Authorities have made an arrest in last week’s shooting outside of the Hells Angels biker club in the East Village, police sources said.

Anthony Iovenitti, 52, was busted on Tuesday, about a week after cops say he shot 25-year-old David Martinez, following a dispute.

According to official sources, Iovenitti is a “prospect” with the notorious motorcycle club, a step away from becoming a full-fledged member.

Martinez was with friends just before 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 11 when he attempted to move an orange traffic cone outside of club headquarters on E. 3rd street, so their car could pass a taxi.

That prompted angry bikers to come out and confront the men.

Iovenitti threw the first punch and was shoved the ground by Martinez. He then whipped out a gun and shot the younger man in the stomach, cops said.

Martinez is recovering in the hospital, in stable condition. Iovenittie was taken in cuffs from the 9th Precinct late Tuesday, wearing a black do-rag, cheap sunglasses and an orange shirt that read “I Don’t Forget, I Don’t Forgive 9-11.”

Iovenitti also has an open assault case from October of this year, when he reportedly shoved someone to the ground, causing them to hit their head on a fire hydrant, sources said.
