Israel Police detained Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s former bureau chief, David Sharan, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of accepting bribes in the so-called submarine affair.
Former Marine Commander Maj. Gen. (res.) Eliezer (Mari) Marom is the senior officer who has been interrogated since this morning (Tuesday) in the police in the framework of the “3000 Affair”, which was dubbed the “Submarine Affair”.
Police detained a former IDF major general Eliezer Marom for questioning on Tuesday as part of investigations into corruption surrounding the procurement of submarines and patrol ships from German conglomerate ThyssenKrupp—the so-called Case 3000.
