Cops are looking into a online video that appears to show a small explosion on the tracks of the C Train.
The video, which was posted on Gothamist, depicts sparks and flames shooting out of the tracks in the Nostrand Avenue station sometime last week, the site said.
An MTA spokesman condemned what was shown in the video.
“If this video really depicts what it claims, it is unconscionable that vandals would have deliberately endangered the lives of our customers and employees, as well as delayed thousands of customers during the morning rush,” said the spokesman, Adam Lisberg.
“We will work with the NYPD to identify and capture the perpetrators responsible for this.”
A motorman posted on Facebook that the incident was caused by rowdy teens, according to Gothamist.
Police said they are investigating.
