Reality-TV juggernaut Kim Kardashian and her egomaniacal rap-star husband, Kanye West, are expecting their second child, the selfie star revealed Sunday night.
Kim got the news during a doctor’s appointment featured on the mid-season finale of E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
“I just got the blood test back,” Kim tells her sister Khloe. “I am pregnant!”
The new baby will join Kimye’s nearly 2-year-old daughter, North.
The trend-setting reality show has been chronicling Kim’s “journey of trying to get pregnant for the second time, which has proven to not be as easy as the first time.”
Kim, 34, and Kanye, 37, have been getting it on globally, to the point of exhaustion, as he tours the world in support of his latest hip-hop album, “Yeezus,” while launching his new fashion venture.
“We are trying. We try every single day. You can’t try harder than we try,” Kim said.
“It’s getting exhausting. He always says, ‘Trying for baby Number 2 isn’t as fun as trying for baby Number 1,’ ” she added.
Social media exploded when news of the pregnancy broke, with users peppering the Web with suggestions with possible baby names, such as South West and North by North West.
