HENDERSON – Four women murdered in Las Vegas and their crimes never solved. Now detectives may be closer to solving the cases.
Police say the bodies were dismembered and thrown on the side of highways, now the murder of Neil Falls in Charleston, West Virginia, may shed light on these unsolved murders.
In the early 2000s, four women were brutally murdered after they were reported missing during their time in the Las Vegas area. Police say the women were known prostitutes working the Las Vegas Strip.
This is what was heard from a 911 call made in Charleston, West Virginia, “There’s a lady in the alley here and she’s saying some guy tried to rape her….”
The call was made recently from a woman Falls attacked. She told police Falls met her for paid sex but instead of the visit that was promised, he pulled out this gun and aimed it towards her.
The woman who survived the attack said, “I knew he was there to kill me. I could tell he had already done something because…he said he was going to prison for a long time.”
The woman, who did not want to be identified, ended up fighting off Falls. Charleston police say she used Falls own gun and shot him in the head. Police later found knives, machetes and bleach inside Falls car.
Lt. Steve Cooper with Charleston Police said, “The nature of the attack and based on the items this man had in his possession it’s hard to imagine this was only going to be a one-time event for him.”
Court records show Neil Falls lived in a Henderson home back in 2005. He even worked as a security guard at Hoover Dam.
Henderson police confirm one of those four women who went missing in the Valley was 22-year-old Lindsay Harris and is still an open murder case. She was last seen in Henderson, her dismembered body found in Illinois in 2008. Misty Saens and Jodi Brewer were also found brutalized, their dismembered bodies found along highways in 2003. Jessie foster has been missing since 2006. Her body was never found.
Glendene Grant, Jessie’s mom, still holds out hope her daughter is alive. Now living in Canada, Grant responded to the news of Neil Falls death.
Grant said, “He has the most evil eyes and his face. I actually had to look away.”
