Jennifer Garner has looked to be in excellent spirits as she spends time with estranged husband Ben Affleck in Europe.
The Oscar winner is overseas to shoot Justice League Part One in London in the coming months.
And it appears as if things could turn romantic for the stars that split in July 2015 after claims he cheated with their nanny.
On Wednesday People reported the Batman v Superman star wants to keep their marriage going. ‘He wants her back,’ a source told the publication.
A second source said the same thing. ‘Ben wants to get back together. He wants her back,’ it was stated.
Star magazine also chimed in, adding: ‘Their love never went away. They had a rough year and had issues to work out, but it looks like they’ve come through it.
They still really love each other.’
There was a report over the weekend that they were seen ‘kissing in a Paris hotel bar,’ but there was no photo evidence to back it up.
Still, they seemed to be closer than ever suggesting romance might not be out of the cards.
According to earlier reports from People, the actors have been privately hashing out the terms of their divorce.
They were expected to make a public filing after their respective movies were released this spring his was Batman v Superman and hers was Miracles From Heaven.
But it’s already May and there is no filing.
Another source said, however, that the plans to divorce are still on. And an insider told UsWeekly; ‘They are not getting back together.’ It was added she has been telling pals to ‘never date an actor.’
Still, the two have been living in the same Pacific Palisades home, which is an unusual move for two people headed for a permanent split. Jennifer told Vanity Fair that they sleep in rooms next door to each other, which is even more curious.
Also interesting is that they attend events together, like the Vanity Fair Oscar party in February.
And they often dine together with their three children Violet, aged 10, Seraphina, aged seven, and Samuel, aged four.
While they have looked very happy together in Paris as they get ice cream with the kids and tour local sites, the source says Jennifer has not taken the Argo star back yet.
‘Jen is not ready to take Ben back,’ said the source. ‘Ben has never been good alone and isn’t now either. But he is constantly working on himself. He has made big changes.’
It appears as if Ben has been trying hard to get back into Jennifer’s good graces by lavishing attention on the children.
The source added: ‘They are co-parenting the best they can. Whatever incarnation of a relationship this is works for them.’
Earlier this year Jennifer talked about her attraction to Ben in her Vanity Fair tell-all.
‘I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him,’ she said.
‘And I would go back and remake that decision.
I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that?
‘He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, “When his sun shines on you, you feel it.
” But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.’
