After getting rained out at the Governor’s Ball music festival Saturday, rapper Kanye West sparked a near riot in the East Village Sunday morning by tweeting that he planned to perform a 2 a.m. pop-up concert.
More than 2,000 people massed outside Webster Hall after hearing that Yeezus would perform there.

Instead, the rapper was escorted out of the concert venue at 2 a.m. by his security guards. He was hustled on foot through the crowds on East 11th street to his waiting SUV.
But instead of leaving immediately, West began circling the venue, waving to the throngs through his sunroof and shaking hands with fans.
Then his chauffeur drove him — still waving — up Third Ave.
“S–t’s whack,” disappointed fan Bobby Misso of Eatontown, N.J.. told The Post just after 2 a.m., when Webster Hall tweeted that fans should leave.
“Nothing Kanye can do about it — it’s the cops.” griped Trevor Lastella, also of Eatontown.

Rapper 2 Chainz was also spotted at the venue.
“Webster Hall is stupid to say ‘Yes,’ and then cancel,” said disappointed attendee Sydnee Kimble, 19, of Seattle. “They knew Kanye would have a lot of people. The bouncers were being really aggressive” in clearing the concert hall, she said.

“Really f—ing s—ty. They canceled Governor’s Ball now, now this,” complained another discouraged rap fan, identifying himself as Travis from Buffalo, NY. “Lose, lose.”
Alt-rockers Death Cab For Cutie and Irish indie band Two Door Cinema Club were also rained out at Governor’s Ball on Sunday.
