Brooklyn – Police are investigating an assault on a woman in Brooklyn.
It happened Sunday morning on 16th Street in Windsor Terrace.
The NYPD released video, and we must warn you, it is graphic.
The woman was walking home when a man came up behind her, reached up her dress and tried pulling her clothes off.
He knocked her to the ground and then started punching her repeatedly.
The victim was able to fight back, kicking the man several times and eventually he fled on foot.
She was not seriously hurt and refused medical attention at the scene.
The suspect was wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans.
He is described as aboaut 5’11”, 180 pounds with curly hair.
Police are cautioning women in the area not to walk alone.
