Natalie Portman is the Critic’s Choice Awards‘ best actress 2016 for her performance in the new movie “Jackie.” This could be a step on the road to a second Oscar for the Israeli born actress.
The 22nd annual ceremony was held at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Los Angeles Sunday night.
In “Jackie,” the 35 year old pregnant Natalie Portman portrays former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy. The movie is about how Jackie Kennedy dealt with her husband’s death in the days after the assassination of President John Kennedy.

The night before the awards, Natalie Portman showed off her baby bump at L.A. Dance Annual Gala at The Theater at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.
