An off-duty NYPD officer was reportedly suspended after she crashed her car while driving drunk on a Long Island highway.
Raquel Warburton, 40, crashed into a wooden barrier on the Robert Moses Causeway Friday night while her son was riding in the back seat, according to Newsday.
The impact caused the car to flip on its side. Both Warburton and her son were not seriously injured, the paper said.
Warburton was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and acting in a manner injurious to a child, court records show.
She was held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
The officer has been suspended from the department without pay.
