NEW YORK – At least six people were shot in two locations in Brooklyn Monday night, according to authorities. Two people died. Police believe the incidents are related.
One shooting happened at 1365 Flatbush Avenue in East Flatbush. Three people were shot there. The other shooting unfolded near 638 East 32nd Street, about half a mile away.
At least three people were taken to Kings County Hospital. Others were taken to Brookdale.
Police said a funeral was underway at a church on Flatbush Avenue when the shots rang out.
